Weather

Sydney enjoys a sunny climate with mild winters and warm summers.
During summer, December to February, average temperatures range from 18.6 – 25.8°C.
Autumn is the mildest time of year in Sydney when the humidity drops and average temperatures fall between 14.6 – 22.2°C .
Sydney’s Winter is June to August when average temperatures drop between 8.8 – 17°C.
In Spring, September to November, days are warmer but the humidity is not as high as summer. Average daily temperatures range from 11 – 23°C.

Sports

Sydney has a great sporting life and many international sporting events take place here.

Culture and the Arts

Concerts, theatre, film and many other cultural and arts events take place in Sydney. There is always something to do!!

Public Transport in Sydney

Public transport is clean, efficient and reliable in Sydney. The Opal card makes public transport very easy and accessible. It can be used on ferry, train, light rail and bus services in Sydney.

Language

The language of instruction at CIHE is English but our students and staff are multilingual. Sydney is a very multi-lingual city. 34% of the residents speak a language other than English at home.
